Gut problems

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have been suffering from chronic diarrhea and bloating for some time now, and I am afraid to go out in public because my intestines could start gurgling again or because I may urgently need a toilet. The doctors cannot tell me where it comes from, as there is nothing abnormal in my blood tests, and I do not think it is an intolerance, as it occurs constantly and not after consuming specific foods. I must mention that I have been eating very little to nothing for a while, and I have been taking some kind of artichoke tablets and diet pills to lose weight (even though I am already quite slim). Therefore, I think I may have somehow damaged my stomach and intestines through this.

Do you think I could get this under control with Vita Biosa? I already have the product with herbs at home. When would be the best time to take it? Should I take it in the morning on an empty stomach, with lunch, or before bedtime? Is there anything else I should consider? I definitely do not want to experience diarrhea, but rather just have my digestion return to "normal," meaning having a bowel movement once a day instead of the current 5-10 times, and not having any bloating.

I took Vita Biosa for the first time yesterday and developed a rash with small red dots all over my body, but mainly in the leg and abdominal area. Does this mean anything? Should I stop taking Vita Biosa, or does this indicate a specific intestinal disease?

For your information, I am 21 years old, weigh 52kg (but do not want to gain weight), and am 162cm tall.

I would be very grateful for your response.

Sincerely,

Dr. med. Kathrin Hamann

Good day,

I am happy to help you further.

The reaction to Vita Biosa seems to be an allergic reaction, so I would advise stopping it immediately and drinking plenty of still water. If it does not improve or even worsens, please visit a clinic emergency department today.

Extended use of laxatives for weight loss can significantly impair and even damage the intestinal flora, which can then manifest in digestive disorders, bloating, unpleasant gas, constipation, and diarrhea. In this case, it is advisable to use supplements that build up and normalize the intestinal flora. Probiotics (yogurts) or yeast cultures (Perenterol) can be very helpful.

If an inflammation has developed in the intestine due to the laxatives (which is usually not visible in the blood), a colonoscopy for diagnosis confirmation would be important, followed by a targeted treatment starting with a glucocorticoid. However, the investigating gastroenterologist should discuss with you how to proceed with the treatment.

Do you have any questions about this? I am happy to help you further.

All the best and speedy recovery!

Best regards,

Dr. K. Hamann
