Treat a festering wound with castile soap.

Hello,
a homeopathically "influenced" doctor recommended treating a festering wound with soap. It worked for my toe (stepped on glass) but the wound was not really open anymore.
I injured my shin a few days ago and now the wound is festering - it was inconspicuous at first. I treated it with Octenisept and Freka cid. Can I also use soap here? The wound is 10 cents in size.
Thank you for your response!
Best regards
Dear inquirer,
With Octanisept and Frekazid, you are on the safe side. If you are unsure, it would be better to consult a professional. For laypersons, the initially whitish fibrin coatings that form the wound closure are often mistaken for "pus". When introducing bar soap, which also has antibacterial properties, the wound can become even more inflamed due to the water introduced with it. I wouldn't do it...
Best regards, Welsch
