Hello, since yesterday I have been feeling my lower abdomen. It doesn't hurt, maybe just feels a bit tight. What could it be? I also take agnus castus to regulate my period. Could it be related to that?

Dr med Hans-Jürgen Bartels

Good morning. The cramping in the lower abdomen could naturally be related to the medication. On the other hand, it could also be a condition of the lower abdomen such as inflammation of the ovaries, a bladder infection, or even inflammation of the appendix. I would definitely recommend seeing your primary care physician today so that they can examine your abdomen, do a blood test, and then make further decisions. I hope you feel better soon. Best regards.
