Ask a doctor on the topic of General medicine

Question 2: Can you please explain the process in more detail?

Hey, you already answered a question for me the other day regarding my bladder infection. It has improved with Amoxiclav but it's not completely gone yet. What's strange is that I feel the need to go to the bathroom after I've already been or when sitting, but not when I move?

I went to the doctor, nothing showed up in my urine. She gave me Angocin anti-infective and Monuril???

Dr. med. Frauke Gehring

Good day,

It takes a while for the symptoms to completely diminish after fighting the bacteria. When you are moving, you may not pay as much attention to other symptoms because you are distracted. Additionally, sitting puts pressure on the urethra.

You can take Monuril and Angocin, and warmth or bladder tea is often soothing as well.

All the best and Merry Christmas!

Sincerely, Dr. Höllering
