Questions about the body

Hello again Mrs. Gehring, regarding the skin, I will try using Linola starting today. Do you consider these forms of illness (Sezary) to be nonsense?

But overall, I also wanted to write about two other things that have been slightly worrying me lately.

At the end of December, there was a question about why my sore throat wouldn't go away. It went away after the antibiotic (unfortunately, then came the rash). However, in January, I also felt a slight pain in the palate for two evenings, similar to a sore throat, but it went away after a day. Yesterday, I felt a sore throat again a little further back, but it improved by morning - never really bad, but I don't usually experience this. It's probably nothing serious, but sometimes the internet mentions leukemia in connection with these symptoms. If it were an acute form, it would have worsened in the 6 weeks, right?

And I have been feeling pain in my chest and abdomen for several days, especially when laughing (not so much when breathing), in different spots that feel like tension. I'm not too worried, but because of lupus, I wanted to ask if something like pleurisy could cause such pain.

I know these are a few issues with questions, I hope you can give a brief and reassuring assessment on each topic.

Regards and thank you.

Good day,

Of course I think Sezary is absurd!

A slight sensitivity in the throat can occur simply by sleeping with your mouth slightly open, or by acid reflux. Why are you googling when you know that it only fuels completely absurd fears for you! If you had a sore throat due to leukemia, you would have a BIG INFLAMMATION and not just a slight sensitivity!

Pleurisy is an extremely painful event that only occurs in the context of severe bronchitis or pneumonia! I can only urge you again not to google and then search for the most serious thing you can find... Even if it is not even a possibility because you only have minimal discomfort.

Sincerely, Dr. Gehring
