Question ear

Good evening again, Mrs. Gehring,

As mentioned in the last post - the small problem with the ear.
It is, as I said, not constant and I couldn't perceive it during the day, would that speak against a tumor or a fistula? According to my logic, it should be constant then.
Aneurysms or similar are now worrying me again.
Nevertheless, the internet is worrying me about pulsatile tinnitus, should I stay relaxed about it?

Regards

Dr. med. Frauke Gehring

Good evening,

It's a shame that you have opened up a new construction site!

A pulse-synchronous tinnitus is often caused by an irritated and slightly swollen temporomandibular joint. During the day, the joint can be irritated, for example, when you clench your teeth due to stress or simply tense your jaw muscles.

Tumors and fistulas would actually cause more persistent symptoms and are also much rarer.

Please don't create any new worries for yourself! Instead, learn progressive muscle relaxation according to Jacobson.

Sincerely, Dr. Gehring
