Pain in the upper abdomen, localized

Hello,

For the past 2 days, I have been experiencing pain in the upper left side of my abdomen, but only in a specific spot. I occasionally feel nauseous, but I have not vomited. When I lean forward, the pain increases slightly and I feel a bulge... but I don't think it's a lump, possibly a swollen vein that is causing the pain? I also feel something similar on the right side, but to a lesser extent. I am extremely worried now. I also have bloating.

I had an abdominal ultrasound 2 months ago, which only showed a polyp in my gallbladder. I also occasionally have difficulty swallowing, a crackling sensation, and sometimes a feeling of a lump in my throat. Could this be due to eating the wrong foods?

I am really afraid that it could be something more serious. What do you think?

Best regards,
Valentina Longo

Hello and good morning, I believe you don't have to worry. If you feel a small lump in the abdominal skin, it could be a small increase in fatty tissue, a small hernia, or you may have strained the abdominal wall. I would suggest waiting and see how it goes. As for the nausea and bloating, I would recommend taking 20 drops of Iberogast 3 times a day. If it doesn't improve, a gastroscopy might be necessary. Get well soon.
