Help

Hello, so my issue is that I have been experiencing dizziness for weeks now and the doctor said it is psychological. Then I started having sweats and a flu, and for about 2 weeks now I have been feeling a stabbing pain on the left side of my head that lasts for 10 seconds and a pressure in my left ear. Now I have noticed red spots on my body that look like mosquito bites and itch, could it have been a tick. My blood test results on Monday were fine except for my liver and too many white blood cells, and an elevated inflammation marker which I have been experiencing for a while. I have been advised to drink plenty of water for my kidneys. My blood pressure was usually around 130/85 and on Saturday it was 124/100. I have also lost my appetite even though I am a good eater and enjoy food.

Good evening,

Dizziness and stabbing pain are consistent with tension in the neck. After a flu, this is not uncommon, and of course, the appetite may not be very big afterwards. If you have taken aspirin or ibuprofen, it may have irritated your stomach.

The red spots are likely from mosquitoes. Ticks usually appear individually, and you often see them before they drop off.

Don't worry.

Warm regards,
Dr. Höllering
