Help
Hello, I have a question. For the past 4 days, I have had a slightly elevated temperature, with the highest being 38 degrees. Today, I have had diarrhea for three days and noticed a little blood in my stool. I have also noticed that my stool is a bit slimy. My stomach feels strange and I feel a bit nauseous. I also have no appetite anymore. I have hardly urinated in the last few days, but today I have to go all the time. Can someone help me? I am afraid that I might die over the weekend and can only go to the doctor on Monday.
Hello,
we have already talked about this, haven't we?
Diarrhea can cause a slight increase in temperature. You have a gastrointestinal infection and that is why you have a higher temperature. This can happen sometimes and is really not life-threatening.
When it is so hot and you have diarrhea, you have to drink a lot. If you don't drink enough, you may not be able to go to the toilet often. That may have been the case in the last few days.
Today, you have apparently been drinking more again and as a result, you have been able to urinate more frequently. If it hurts when you urinate, you may have picked up an infection from not drinking enough. In that case, drinking a lot, a lot again or possibly taking an antibiotic can help.
Is everything clear or do you have any more questions?
