eating disorder

Hello!!!
I quit smoking 2 years ago and since then my eating behavior has been catastrophic. All I think about is food. Everything revolves around food for me. And my biggest problem is that I stuff myself with a lot of chocolate. I have tried to distract myself, but I just can't seem to get out of it. I have also read the book "Eating as a substitute." No chance. As if that weren't enough, my digestion has also slowed down. Since then, I have had total digestion problems. I am sooo happy that I no longer smoke, but I urgently need advice from you. I am quite desperate. My first thought upon waking up in the morning is to eat immediately. I also somehow don't feel satisfied anymore, which I never had before. Please reply. Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards,
Warmuth Tanja
Hello Mrs. Warmuth, first of all I would like to congratulate you on having the willpower to quit smoking, it takes a lot of determination. And now you must use that same willpower when it comes to your "addiction" or the constant need to eat. A suggestion therapy would be helpful, which involves treating physical and mental disorders through hypnosis or autogenic training. You can find good hypnotists among psychologists, so you can inquire with your local medical association about who offers such services. I think this will be successful. But also important - as mentioned before - is your own willpower, which you have already demonstrated, think positively that you can do it.
All the best and good luck.
