Head bumped.

Hello, I currently live in the USA, so I thought I would ask here first before trying American doctors for the first time. On Friday evening, I hit my head pretty hard (in the middle of my head, where children have their fontanelle) and had a headache, mostly all around. I did not have nausea or vomiting. On Saturday, I had the same headache again, radiating from my neck to my head. After taking Dolormin, it got better. Today, I feel a bit dizzy again, but no headache, just a lot of tension. What should I look out for? I didn't get a bump, the area is just a bit sensitive. Could something still happen like a brain hemorrhage or something due to the impact? Should I have a doctor take a look at it again? If it were a concussion, what should I be aware of? Thank you very much for a quick response.
Dear patient,
With a mild concussion, you no longer need to worry after 4 days, as the headaches and tension will gradually decrease. You can use heat therapy on your neck to alleviate the tension. Since there were no bumps, nausea, or vomiting, it is currently unnecessary to have a doctor check on you.
Regarding the second question, it is possible that there could have been injuries inside the skull. Even up to 7 days later, a subdural or epidural hematoma could still occur. This should be evaluated and treated by a doctor in any case. If you or those around you notice any loss of consciousness, difficulty concentrating, or suddenly experience stronger headaches in the next few days, you should seek medical attention in the USA. Based on your description, it doesn't seem likely. So I think it's okay to wait for the natural course of recovery. Dr. Berg
