Do Chinese herbs / Chinese medicine have side effects? If so, what are they?

Good day,

The herbs themselves, when used in the correct dosage (consult a TCM doctor!), have no side effects except for possible allergic reactions.

Unfortunately, many Chinese herbs are heavily contaminated with heavy metals. Please get the herbs from a pharmacy and do not purchase them over the internet.
