Urine test Combur 5 Test HC
I recently purchased the fivefold test strips from Roche for self-monitoring at home.
I have a question regarding test field 4 PRO: In the case of a positive result, this test field should change color to a bright or dark green. However, in my case, there is a completely atypical discoloration, which appears more dark purple (similar to LEU). There is no trace of green!
I am currently taking the antibiotic CiproHex 500 mg for a urinary tract infection. I am unable to consult my urologist as he is currently on vacation.
I do not have any pain or other symptoms when urinating, and I have not experienced them in the past either.
What could be the explanation for this unusual discoloration?
