Hello, my husband was prescribed levofloxacin 500mg for a urinary tract infection and the doctor said to take it in the morning and evening, but the package insert says once daily. I am totally confused, because he also feels very weak. Can I just reduce it to once a day? Greetings
For Levofloxacin, a dosage of 500 mg is usually sufficient. So if there is no exceptional overweight or an exceptional medical history, then 500 mg is enough.
