Tamsulosin after a prostate TURP surgery?

Can I take TAMSULOSIN after a Prostate TURRP surgery?
I had a Turp surgery about 9 months ago for benign prostate enlargement.
I am 75 years old, otherwise healthy, privately insured.
Before the surgery, I often had nocturia, which has improved after the surgery.
Now after the surgery, I urinate 1 to a maximum of 2 times at night, each time around 500 ml.
During the day, depending on my fluid intake, I still have frequent urination.
Usually every 2 - 3 hours, with each time around 200 to 300 ml.
The urine flow is about 15 seconds for 250 ml, so about 15 ml per second.
BUT: The urge to urinate during the day sets in relatively quickly and strongly.
If I do not quickly find a restroom, I may leak a small amount of urine,
after which the urge to urinate subsides without needing to visit the restroom.
QUESTION: Does it make sense to take TAMSULOSIN or another medication again with these symptoms?
I still have a large pack left from before the surgery.

The operation has obviously been successful. Tamsulosin is no longer needed as a medication. For your symptoms, it would be better to use a so-called anticholinergic drug.
