Hello, I am 29 years old and since around 10 o'clock today I have been feeling a considerable pulling and pulsing in my testicles (not constant, in intervals), as well as a strong pain in the urethra while urinating, which then radiates into the groin area.
Dear inquirer,
You are complaining about pain in the testicular area or pain while urinating. These symptoms have been present for approximately 4-5 hours.
A possible cause for your pain is a testicular inflammation, also known as "Orchitis". Testicular inflammation is usually understood as an acute or chronic infectious disease caused by viruses or bacteria.
Symptoms include severe pain in the affected testicle (which often spreads to the neighboring testicle). Swelling of the testicle and epididymis usually occurs, while the skin over the testicle is red and warm.
Burning pain during urination, frequent urination, or blood in the urine are also signs of this condition. Testicular inflammation may or may not be associated with fever. Symptoms usually last for about a week.
I recommend consulting your general practitioner or a urologist if the pain persists. They can conduct a thorough medical history, examination (including palpation), and, if necessary, an ultrasound.
Orchitis is easily diagnosed and usually treatable without complications.
I hope I could help you. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at any time.
Wishing you good health.
