faster aging

I have recently been taking L-Thyroxine for an underactive thyroid. I have read in several forums on the internet that the medication can cause faster aging as a side effect. This is explained by the stimulation of metabolism and the associated faster cell division. I tend to believe that this is incorrect. But it worries me. Therefore, my question. Thank you.
Good morning,
The latest research results show that human aging is a result of stress reactions. There is no general aging through accelerated cell division as a result of taking this medication. Imagine how many people in Germany have to take this medication, the further south you go, the higher the rate, so you could already recognize those who take this medication just on the street. We can all agree that this is not the case. So your gut feeling is right: taking this medication does not cause faster or premature aging.
