Brief flash in the field of vision top right
Hello, I am 28 years old, male, and nearsighted (-7.5 in both eyes).
For several years I have been having annual examinations for retinal detachment. I had the last examination a month ago - everything was fine.
Therefore, I didn't worry when I had a brief flash of light (top right) in my field of vision a week ago and two days ago. It was in the evening before going to bed; I was reading on my smartphone. The flash of light did not come from the smartphone. When I was curious and googled it, it mentioned light flashes and the need to see a doctor immediately. But is it possible at all if I had the examination a month ago?
Today, in darkness, I rolled my eyes in all directions and did not see any light flashes in the same spot. Just a small, faint flash at the bottom left and a faint reflection of both of my pupils in the middle. But that should be normal.
I would appreciate hearing from you whether there is a need for action.
