I have a question regarding artificial light:

Are there any potential health issues associated with regularly looking directly into artificial light sources (such as fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, LEDs, etc.)? If so, what potential consequences could this have, and can an eye doctor already recognize these on a superficial level?
