Corticosteroid
Hello!
I have been prescribed "Karison Crinale" for a skin problem on my foot, a solution containing the very potent corticosteroid clobetasol propionate.
When I wanted to apply the solution today (under time pressure), I accidentally opened the small bottle in the cabinet and swung it past my face. I did not notice that liquid had leaked from the bottle, but I am worried that it may have gotten into my eye.
Therefore, I have two questions:
In case of possible direct contact, would the eye pressure increase due to the corticosteroid - and if so, would it happen quickly? (I will be near an eye clinic this evening and could have my eye pressure checked there.)
Should I have noticed a possible eye contact - for example, through intense burning in the eyes or something similar? Since this was not the case, could I then rule out any contact.
Best regards,
Bernd
