Strabismus - Trochlear palsy?

Good evening,

I am 24 years old and have had a slight squint (strabismus) for (presumably) a longer period of time. Although I have regularly visited the eye doctor due to my nearsightedness (-7.25), the squint has never been noticed before. I myself also did not notice it, as I subconsciously tilt my head to the right to avoid double vision. However, when my head is straight and my gaze is direct, I cannot fixate on a point.

Please see the two images for comparison.

My new eye doctor discovered the squint during a check-up 4 months ago. The eye itself is fine - a thorough examination was also done (early detection of retinal detachment).

I will now schedule an appointment at a vision school to get to the bottom of this. However, I would like to know in advance: What is the likelihood of a trochlear nerve palsy? What symptoms occur as accompanying features if there is a skull-brain injury, an aneurysm, or even a tumor underlying it?

I know: Be cautious with self-diagnosis. But all symptoms of a trochlear nerve palsy apply here, so I would like to hear your opinion on this suspicion. Perhaps you also have rough numbers for me on how often each underlying cause is responsible for a squint.

Thank you in advance.
