Hello,

About 3 days ago, I discovered that I have a spot on the left side of my head that hurts when touched. Only on the left side. And only when pressure is applied. For example, when I rest my head on my hand at that spot.

Since I am a bit of a hypochondriac and constantly at the doctor's office anyway, I am starting to feel embarrassed and uncomfortable about this and wanted to ask here first. I am afraid that it might be something dangerous, like a blocked artery, a blood clot, or even a tumor.

At this point, a nerve runs forward on the bone. It is normal for it to react to pressure with pain, which can be exacerbated by colds, drafts or simply on its own.
