Pain due to nerve inflammation?

I have been experiencing occasional strong tingling/burning in the urethra for about 1.5 months. I have already been thoroughly examined by a urologist months ago, without any results.

The symptoms almost always occur during work and disappear after work. There are no symptoms on weekends or during holidays. I have to do physical work, lift and place objects, and pull heavy loads. When I squeeze my shoulder blades/stretch my chest, there is a noticeable improvement in the symptoms for a certain period of time.

I currently have no back pain, but I have had major issues with sciatica before.

Good evening,

I would advise you to see both an orthopedic doctor AND a neurologist for an examination. Intense work can lead to a disc herniation, which can affect the nerves. This can cause pain in the legs and feet, as well as urinary or bladder problems, even if no changes are found there.

Please get examined and treated specifically.

Do you have any questions about this? I am happy to help you further.

All the best and a speedy recovery!

Sincerely,

Dr. K. Hamann
