What is missing in me? No one knows.
Started 5 months ago with a throat infection, my health has been declining since then:
Gradually, stronger pain came in the back on the left side next to the spine below the heart, pulling towards the abdomen, especially in the mornings after waking up in bed, and mild breathing problems. I am always more dizzy so that I can hardly think clearly and have strong consciousness disturbances. In addition, there is a progressive decline in performance and severe weight loss (arms, legs, pelvis, and then also in the face), I am becoming more bony and my joints crack more and more during movements. My bowel movements have also changed for months (a lot, undigested, softer) and my appetite has decreased significantly in the past few weeks. I can barely get through the day and no one knows what is wrong with me.
Could all of this be caused by chronic bronchitis?
The following diagnostics have been performed so far:
- MRI of the skull (normal)
- MRI of the neck (normal)
- CT of the thorax (normal)
- Bronchoscopy (shows inflamed bronchi, otherwise normal)
- MRI of the abdomen (normal)
- various abdominal ultrasounds (normal)
- 4x gastroscopy (shows a 1cm submucosal nodule, repeated with endosonography, has not grown, superficial histology normal)
- Colonoscopy (normal)
- various blood tests (normal Epstein-Barr, also tumor markers CEA, NSE, CA 19-9 and HIV test negative)
- Whole body PET-CT (normal)
- Indications of Lyme disease in the blood, but not really in the cerebrospinal fluid.
