MRI images of lymph nodes in the subclavian vein.
Good evening,
Question for a radiologist/thoracic specialist/internal medicine physician.
I have attached a file containing a download link to all of my MRI images of the soft tissues of the neck. It would be very kind if 2 doctors could take a look at this. It concerns the left side where there is a mass measuring a maximum of 2.5cm in the region of the left subclavian vein.
The radiologist described this as "MAX 2.5CM PROMINENCE OF THE SUBCLAVIAN VEIN. INHOMOGENEOUS FLOW SIGNAL" (MRI was done with contrast agent).
However, the referring ENT doctor said after the MRI that it feels relatively noticeable as a lymph node. Therefore, I am now requesting help in clarifying this "prominence".
Based on the images, is this a lymph node or not?
