Sudden palpitations since youth and extrasystoles.
Dear medical team,
I am 34 years old, 184 cm tall, and weigh 105 kg. Since the age of 19, I have been suffering from paroxysmal tachycardia with sudden onset. I can usually stop these tachycardias more or less well with the Valsalva maneuver. Sometimes it only lasts for 10 minutes and sometimes several hours. I actually tolerate this heart racing very well, but of course it does mentally burden me if it lasts longer. I have already been to a cardiologist and he found nothing. It occurs on average 2 times a year. In order to catch such an "episode," I bought an Apple Watch with ECG function and recorded the last 2 attacks. Please take a look at the ECG recording attached (I know it can't replace a visit to the cardiologist). I would be grateful if you could tell me what it is likely to be. By the way, my mother also has it. Additionally, I would also be grateful if you could give me tips on how to reduce these attacks. I have noticed that it usually occurs after alcohol consumption or during stressful times when I worry a lot. Thank you very much.
