Blood values

Hello,

Do I need to be concerned about the elevated blood values, neutrophils and lymphocytes? I am worried that this might be related to tumors, that I have cancer, leukemia, or another type of cancer. I am also a bit pale. I am sending the blood values along. Thank you very much.

Best regards

Dr. med. Frauke Gehring

Good day,

Neutrophils decrease in virus infections, lymphocytes increase, and this is the case with you to a very small extent. Since your hemoglobin levels are normal, you are not anemic, so your paleness may also be due to an infection.

All other values are perfect, and I do not understand why you are thinking about cancer with such minimal deviations! For blood cancer, hemoglobin would have to decrease and leukocytes would have to increase, but both are perfectly healthy.

This blood test is remarkably good and there is no reason to worry.

Warm regards, Dr. Höllering
