Pregnancy - amniocentesis

I am in the 13th week of pregnancy and 41 years old! The nuchal translucency measurement for my baby showed 0.91 mm! My gynecologist advises against an amniocentesis because I have a fibroid in my uterus, increasing the risk of miscarriage! I would like to have a second opinion on this!
