Strange feeling

Hello,

since yesterday I have been totally afraid of a thrombosis. On Friday I cycled very intensively on my home trainer for 30 minutes. Afterwards, I had a strange feeling in my left knee pit. I feel the fabric of my jeans more intensely on this side, that's how it feels. Like a very uncomfortable friction feeling. I don't have any real pain. I don't have this feeling at rest, only when I walk, and specifically when I bend my knee pit while walking, then I feel this irritation feeling. Or it also feels like something is lying on it, very strange. I have had this feeling until today. My biggest fear is to have an aneurysm or a thrombosis in that area. I have already searched the internet for self-examinations. I can feel my pulse at my ankles, is that good and less of a sign of a thrombosis? I also read about an ABI value, but I'm not sure if it can only determine a heart attack and stroke. So I measured the blood pressure values of my foot and arm and got 1.1. Am I at risk with that? As you can see, my fear is very big and I think I will go directly to the doctor tomorrow. By the way, there is no swelling and the color is also normal. I am a 34-year-old female, not pregnant, no birth control pill, no medications, no surgeries.

Dear questioner, I consider it almost impossible that you have a thrombosis. It is much more likely that you have strained a tendon or muscle due to intense exertion. If you are unsure, have yourself examined in a doctor's office and possibly have the D-dimers in your blood determined. This can help to reliably rule out a thrombosis. Regards, C. Welsch
