Carotid artery

Hello
I just read that you can do a lung test at home by trying to blow out a candle from a meter away. I blew really hard and it felt kind of strange behind my right ear, like something was jumping or so. Can you get a tear in the carotid artery from actions like this?
No, I can reassure you. The carotid artery is not located behind the ear, and you cannot make it burst by blowing hard. Think about weightlifters, how much strength they exert. Their veins may swell, but they also do not burst.
Best regards
