Ask a doctor on the topic of General medicine

hello

Hello, I had a colonoscopy on Friday and they didn't find anything that could be causing my bowel movements, but they did remove a large polyp and send it off for testing. I'm not feeling well, I still have a temperature of 38 degrees and sometimes only 36 degrees in my bottom, and I have had large pupils since yesterday and my blood pressure is fluctuating. I just don't know what to do, do you have any advice? Do you think I'm going to die now? I also have some stomach pain, blue bruises, and nausea.

Dr. med. Frauke Gehring

Good evening,

It is completely unclear to me why you should die from slightly elevated temperature or fluctuating blood pressure. You really need psychiatric help urgently!

The result of the polyp will be communicated to you in the next few days. If no fever appears again, you have no reason to worry; if it does, please speak to your doctor.

Sincerely, Dr. Höllering
