Blow to the temple

Hello,
I just got hit in the temple by the T-bar while skiing. I didn't feel dizzy or faint, but now I have a slight pressure on my temple. Since the temple is very sensitive, I wanted to ask if I should be worried about a ruptured artery or brain bleeding. I am unfortunately very scared of that.
Best regards
Good day,
the temple is sensitive because it lies directly under the surface and the periosteum is not protected by muscles (as in the shin). That's why a blow to the temple hurts so much.
However, it is quite stable, so you don't need to fear a brain hemorrhage.
Perhaps this annoying accident will convince you to buy a helmet... It will also protect your head from much more dangerous accidents.
Have a nice holiday!
Warm regards, Dr. Höllering
