Blood values- HIV anxiety- Mental stress
I am trying to summarize the story briefly, as it has been weighing heavily on me for 4.5 years.
In early 2009, there was a one-time vaginal intercourse with a condom that broke (status of the person unknown) ... HIV induced. After that, I googled symptoms, got a stiff neck, difficulty swallowing and neck pain, extreme stress and anxiety. Lymph nodes swollen at the ear and neck after a few weeks ... Fatigue (probably also palpated the nodes).
And after about 8 weeks, a comprehensive blood test was done:
White blood cells 6.4 Reference: 4-9.4
Red blood cells 4.98 Reference: 4.3-5.9
Hemoglobin 16.1 Reference: 13-18
Hematocrit: 46.6 Reference: 42-54
Granulocytes: 52.8 Reference: 41-70
Lymphocytes: 37% Reference: 22-48
Monocytes: 8.3% Reference: 4.7-12.5
Platelets: 174 Reference: 140-440
ESR 2-6
So, every value was optimal.
Approximately 12 weeks after contact, immunological status, values:
Lymphocytes 28%, Reference: 20-40%
White blood cell count 6.0 Reference: 4-10
Granulocytes: 67% Reference: 50-70
Monocytes: 6% Reference: 2-10
T-lymphocytes: 72% Reference: 60-85 (1210 - Reference: 680-2750)
Total activated T-lymphocytes: 3%, Reference 5-10%
Total B-lymphocytes: 15%, Reference: 7-23%
Natural killer cells: 10% Reference 10-19% (Number 168)
CD 4 helper cells 52%, Reference: 38-46 %, 875 - Reference: 700-1100
CD4 regulatory T-lymphocytes 9%, reference: 2-6%
Total CD8: 26%, Reference: 31-40% , 437 - Reference: 500-900
CD4/CD8 Ratio: 2.0
Comprehensive blood count 4.5 years later, recently:
White blood cells 5.9 Reference: 4-10
Red blood cells 5.15 Reference: 4.2-5.8
Hemoglobin 16.0 Reference: 13-18
Hematocrit: 45 Reference: 39-50
Neutrophils: 55%, Reference: 40-75
Lymphocytes: 37% Reference: 15-45
Monocytes: 6.2%
Platelets: 157 Reference:
