reduced sebum production
Hello, I am male, 26 years old, and have been suffering from various complaints since childhood, ranging from cognitive to muscular. One issue concerns the skin, which may provide insight into the others. I have very low-fat skin, to the extent that I have not been able to wet shave for years as it causes too much damage to my skin. I have had my skin values measured and the moisture content was normal, but the fat content was practically zero everywhere. I do not follow a low-fat diet. I have read that this could be caused by a low production of male hormones. Should I see a dermatologist or an endocrinologist for this issue? What other pathological causes could there be, besides male hormones? And what tests should be done to measure them? Thank you for your help.
