Redness in the face

Hello,

I have had the following problem for 3 weeks:

In my face, mostly in the cheek area, the skin suddenly burns and turns red. Later, the burning sensation subsides a bit but the skin remains quite red (permanently now). This also happens in the other half of my face. Occasionally, my ears also start burning suddenly, or I notice a strong feeling of warmth there. This happens without any identifiable trigger (stress, blood pressure, cold, etc). The condition has not improved so far and is generally becoming more uncomfortable for me.

What could be the cause of this?

Age: 26, male.
