Perioral dermatitis?

I have often written here about my blackhead acne and my dry oily skin. Through gentle care, I now have everything under control and am very happy with the result. No acids or aggressive products. Not perfect but acceptable for me. Just light makeup. It took me about 6-8 months for the cornification (which is naturally not completely gone) to slowly disappear. The breakthrough for me was with grape seed oil (massaged onto damp skin). I was fascinated by how much a skin can improve in 2 weeks. My Biotherm cream couldn't keep up, unfortunately something else happened. I'm not sure if it started with the oil (especially since I don't use the oil on my entire face) or before. After washing, I always got red spots around my mouth that itch. Sometimes around the eyes and nose. But it soon went away when the skin was dry. Then I applied my oil (not on those spots initially) and the next morning everything was beautiful. Then washed again with just water and again red itchy spots around the mouth. But it went away after an hour. Then in the evening, I removed my makeup (just lightly applied) and the same scenario. This morning it was particularly bad when I let the water run over my face for a long time while showering. (The longer the water on the skin, the more spots). It was warm water. I was covered around my mouth with these red spots (in these spots there were tiny pimples sometimes) but as before, after an hour it was gone. I am just a layperson, but this sounds very much like perioral dermatitis, doesn't it? What can I do now to avoid this? Or is it more the water? Should I wash with cold water? My partner said, even if I only apply the oil to certain areas and not where the rashes are, it can spread through washing with water and therefore cause problems in other sensitive areas. This is just a theory. The worst part is: I have fought for years with this blackhead acne and I am infinitely grateful that the oil has improved my skin so much. I am just overwhelmed by what I should do now. The breakout problem is not on my forehead at all (if only very, very lightly in one spot). If I don't use anything else, just water and no oil or moisturizer, I can assure you that the acne will come back. It's a vicious cycle. I have not integrated any new products into my skincare routine. I remove my makeup (because I really only tolerate THAT) with a micellar cleansing solution and a cotton pad, I don't feel any itching during this procedure. It really only occurs after washing. Have you ever heard of something like this? It can't be a water allergy, can it? I mean, I have nothing on the rest of my body.

However, there are indirect water allergies, where it can also be an allergy to the chosen temperature, there is both cold and heat allergy.
So tip 1: Try it with a different temperature.
Tip 2: Try to keep as little water as possible on your face, cleansing and oiling is enough, no water is needed on the face.
Tip 3: You could try if you don't react as much if you oil beforehand. This could also be helpful if you want to go swimming.
