Company car / 1% - mileage log
Hello advisor,
I am currently negotiating with my future employer, involving a company car and its billing. The options available are:
Company car worth approximately 40,000 EUR
Commute - 93 KM highway, 79 KM country roads
Gross annual salary of 42,000 EUR (sales)
All employees of the company who have a company car keep a logbook.
I had a home office with a 1% rule at my previous employer.
Question: Will I end up worse off with a logbook compared to a home office with a 1% rule?
Is there a reasonable arrangement for both parties without me having to pay tax on the benefit of 1 EUR per kilometer for the distance?
Best regards
