White thing right behind the almond

Hello. For the past 2 days, I have had a strange white thing directly behind my left tonsil (see picture). You have to view it from the side to see it. What could this be? Note: About four days ago, I accidentally bumped into the same spot while brushing my teeth, could this white thing be related to that?
