Loud shouting

Can loud children's screams damage hearing? If so, are there ways to regenerate it?
This is also a question of dosage...
In theory, it is quite possible that hearing can be affected by days and hours of screaming. However, realistically, this is not likely, especially since you will hardly hold the child directly to your ear. As far as I know, hearing damage from children's screams is not described in the literature.
I wish you a lot of patience in dealing with your sources of noise, whether they are your own or someone else's.
Perhaps an old wisdom from child-rearing will help you: small children create small problems, big children create big problems, meaning: it could be much worse.
