Can you tell me if diseases can be transmitted through waste (of any kind)? I came into contact with garbage while cleaning up. Since I often have dry skin on my hands in the winter and therefore frequently have small cracks, I wondered if I should be concerned about this. Are there any diseases that I should have checked by a doctor?
