Shoulder pain

Hello,
I have been having pain in both shoulders for weeks. Often, the pain also radiates down to my fingers. I can't sleep on my sides at night, only on my back due to the pain. I can only lift my arms with help from someone else, who supports and then lifts them up. This way, I can lift them without pain. It's strange that both shoulders are affected. I should also mention that I have cervical spinal stenosis without compression of the spinal cord and severe narrowing of the neuroforamina of multiple vertebrae. Could this possibly be calcific tendinitis, but in both shoulders?
Best regards
Hello!
Thank you for your question.
The feelings of disorders or tingling in your fingers cannot be explained by calcification of the shoulders.
Overall, it is most likely that the complaints are caused by the narrowing of the neuroforamina. These compress the nerves. This can lead to pain, sensory disorders, and paralysis. Although simultaneous occurrence on both sides is rather rare, it is possible.
Since you already have sensory disorders and paralysis, you should promptly see an orthopedist, otherwise the nerves could be permanently damaged in extreme cases. Please mention these symptoms directly so that you can get an appointment quickly. Otherwise, please present yourself at an orthopedic clinic.
I wish you all the best!
