KAMRA Inlays
September 2, 2012 | 20,00 EUR | answered by Dr. med. Kathrin Hamann
Hello,
I became aware of the KAMRA Inlays in a magazine and then on the internet at www.sehkraft.de. I am long-sighted and need glasses with 2.5 diopters for reading and working on the PC. Would these KAMRA Inlays be an alternative for me? Are there any experiences with them or what does the eye doctor think about it?
Thank you for a response.

Hello,
these inlays have been approved in the EU since 2005 and are very suitable for presbyopia.
Whether it is suitable for you, you should clarify on site. A simple visual acuity test, examination of the cornea and lens, and then there should be nothing standing in the way of the inlay.
You can find excellent information and videos about the surgical procedure here: http://www.sehkraft.de/kamra-inlay.html
I am happy to help you further if you have any questions.
All the best and good luck.
Best regards,
Dr. K. Hamann
