Muscle twitching

Dear Dr. Gehring,
Thank you for your response to my inquiry about muscle twitching. So far, nothing abnormal has been found in the EMG, ENG, and other tests, and there are no signs of paralysis. Only a certain stiffness in the hands and a tension sensation in the right calf are noticeable. However, I have read that fasciculations can be an early symptom of ALS and that further symptoms may appear after about 12-13 months. Thank you for an explanation.
Best regards.

Good day once again,

Unfortunately, anyone can write whatever they want on the internet. In the normal course of ALS, paralysis always comes first, followed by fasciculations. Now I cannot guarantee that in your case it could be the other way around. But if we consider that your likelihood of developing the disease is only about 1 in 100,000, possibly 1 in 1 million due to the lack of paralysis, and completely in the realm of absolute rarity due to normal test results, then you should not let your life be spoiled by such unnecessary fears!

Sincerely, Dr. Gehring
