Difference between Lorazepam and Lormetazepam

Hello dear experts!
I have asked my doctor to prescribe me Tavor (active ingredient Lorazepam) for panic emergencies. I have already had good, albeit limited, experience with it.
Now, on the prescription handed to me, the active ingredient is "Lormetazepam". Can I take this active ingredient for panic attacks just like Lorazepam?
Dear inquirer,
Lorametazepam, like Lorazepam, is a sedative from the benzodiazepine group. It can be used for panic attacks, sleep disorders, with a normal dosage ranging from 0.5-1mg. Rarely, higher doses of up to 2mg are used after tolerance has developed or before surgeries.
Both substances have a similar side effect profile. Lorametazepam should also not be taken regularly, as with Lorazepam, as dependence can occur after a short period of use (weeks).
You can take it without any problems, but if you found Tavor to be more effective, ask your doctor to prescribe it again!
Have a nice Sunday
Sincerely,
