Possible hepatitis B infection?

Hello,

a blood test has been conducted on me.
My general practitioner wants to refer me now, as there is a suspicion of a Hepatitis B infection and he has not seen such a high value before.

The Hepatitis B vaccination was last administered in 2009.

I have attached the laboratory report.

Hepatitis indicators:

Hbs-Ag >1000 (mIU/ml)
HBCIGG: negative (HBc AB (IgG))
HBSAKQL: positive (HBs AB qual.)
AHCV: negative (HCV AB)

Thank you in advance,
Kind regards, Marco

Good evening,

Unfortunately, you have not asked a question at all. In fact, an elevated Hbs Ag indicates an acute infection with current virus replication. Further laboratory parameters can now be determined, but such a high titer actually indicates an acute hepatitis B infection. You should promptly see a gastroenterologist or visit a liver clinic.

I wish you all the best!

Sincerely, Dr. Gehring
