Gastrointestinal complaints with severe abdominal pain

Hello, my daughter (1.5 years old) vomited 2 days ago. The next day she was feeling better. Now my wife and I are experiencing stomach/intestinal issues with vomiting.
I am only experiencing vomiting without any additional bowel movements. But I have also developed strong stomach pains for about an hour. We have been given MCP for the nausea and Iborgast!!!
I am now a bit scared that it might be something more serious for me. I had gastritis a few months ago. Could it be that the vomiting has caused my stomach to become inflamed again? Should I take Pantozol as well?
I am really worried.
Hello, you are most likely suffering from an acute infectious gastroenteritis ("stomach flu") after being infected by your daughter.
This usually only lasts 1-2 days and then it will be over.
Since you also suffer from gastritis, you may have more pain than usual with such infections. You can take Pantoprazole for this, and Buscopan tablets (available over the counter) can also help. If it doesn't get better, you can also try Novalgin drops (prescription required).
If you don't feel better this afternoon or over the weekend, you can contact the emergency medical service nationwide at 116117. A doctor will come to you and can prescribe Novalgin, for example.
However, it is very likely that you will soon experience spontaneous improvement. Please only have tea and light food for now.
Kind regards
