Constant headache pain while lying down.

Hello, I have another question.

I have been experiencing headaches when lying down for a while now. I also have occasional pain in my right shoulder. Sometimes, I feel dizzy more often. Currently, I am also easily irritated. My neck is also a bit tense.

I am really afraid that it is something serious, like a brain hemorrhage or a brain tumor. In May 2015, I had an MRI for my head, and nothing was found. However, I am afraid that I may have something like that now.

Dr. med. Frauke Gehring

Good day,

It is not your symptoms that are the problem, it is your anxiety disorder. Without it, you would see headaches and dizziness as a logical consequence of your neck tension. A brain hemorrhage unfolds dramatically, a tumor almost always causes neurological deficits before causing headaches. Furthermore, it is very rare and your relatively new MRI was ok.

You definitely need psychological support!

Sincerely, Dr. Höllering
