Question about alcohol pain

Hello, I have to ask something again (Lupus patient, 26)... I came across the alcohol pain in lymph node cancer... I have a somewhat strange symptom and I hope you can reassure me, as the symptom presents itself a bit differently than described on the internet...
After I drink alcohol, I do not feel immediate pain, but overnight the lymph nodes in my neck hurt a bit, kind of like sore muscles or as if they are fighting off something... this happened about 5-6 weeks ago and I also seem to remember it happening on vacation, which was 4 months ago!
I have also had alcohol in between and then had no pain overnight, no other symptoms are present but I am still somewhat worried... my blood work in September was also fine... is the worry unfounded? Especially since the pain behaves differently... Thank you in advance.

Dr. med. Frauke Gehring

Good morning,

Your concerns are unfounded. Leukemia can be seen in the blood, and if it leads to alcohol-related pain, it is always present. Also, everywhere else. Your pain only in the neck suggests tension, with even the tendons being tender to the touch. Perhaps you are simply too immobile after drinking alcohol.

Sincerely, Dr. Gehring
