Pain

Hello, I have severe back pain on the right side and hip pain (bone)...sometimes I have some strange pains in the upper abdomen and wanted to know if that can radiate from the pain in the back and hip area. My blood values have always been normal so far. Last blood test in September 2014. I am strongly restricted on the entire right side. I have no complaints when eating and good appetite and no digestive problems. Thank you for any advice.
Good day, I am happy to help you further.
Pain in the upper right abdomen could theoretically be radiating nerve pain from the thoracic spine or blockages/nerve irritations in the thoracic spine area (not likely from the hip). You mentioned that your abdominal blood values were normal and that you do not have any digestive complaints. However, in addition to the blood values, it would still be advisable to have an ultrasound of the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas to ensure that everything is really okay with the abdominal organs. If that is ruled out, it could actually be coming from the back, in which case the chest/lumbar spine (and possibly the hip) could be x-rayed, depending on your age. If it is indeed most likely coming from the spine, anti-inflammatory/pain-relieving tablets such as ibuprofen can help, as well as back-strengthening sports such as swimming, Kieser training, Pilates, or yoga.
Best regards and all the best!
