Pain in the calf

Hello, I have read that you are a phlebotomist. I have had a pain in the back of my calf for about three months. It twinges, it pulls day and night. I have already had an ultrasound and the phlebotomist here in town listened with his device to see if there are any varicose veins present. All negative. I am still afraid. I am 39 years old, do not smoke, and do not take any birth control pills. I must also mention that the pain occasionally radiates into my foot or lower back, and my right side from my neck down is very tense. I am a bit lost...

Good morning,

It really doesn't sound like a thrombosis, but rather like a problem with the spine that is causing the pain in the calf. I would recommend seeing an orthopedist and doing spinal exercises for the lumbar spine. This will likely bring you improvement.
